The tennis desk treats the small Indian tour presence as a feature, not a footnote. Every Indian player ranked in the ATP/WTA top 300 has a player file maintained by the desk — a written summary, a form chart, and a venue-by-venue record. Players ranked 300-700 get a monthly summary rather than a per-tournament breakdown.

Sumit Nagal's 2026 clay-court swing has been his most consistent run since 2024. The desk is tracking three numbers across the season: his first-serve percentage on clay, his break-point conversion in deciding sets, and the percentage of return games where he wins at least one point. Does the tennis desk cover doubles?

What about junior tennis?
Junior Grand Slams get dedicated preview pieces. The ITF junior tour is covered via the monthly ranking summary; an individual junior is profiled only when they break into the ATP/WTA top 500.
Where do live scores come from?
The ATP and WTA publish their own live scoring endpoints; SportsAdda reconciles those feeds against the on-court umpire's score calls and the broadcaster's graphic. When the feeds disagree, the umpire's call wins and the editorial desk publishes a correction if needed.
